Hello ladies,

I just found out i'm pregnant again.Such a shock. with PCOS, breastfeeding i didnt think it will happend so easy. Had to go throu treatment with my first one. second baby took us a year. Not that i'm not happy but scared to death. My second c'section was just 8 1/2 months ago. Saw my doctor today she said it ok, it is prefered to have 2 years gap birth to birth but its fine just birth has to be around 37 weeks. She told me termination is risky as well so better to continue. But dont feel very confident in her this time as i was very rushed during appointment. all the answers were answered by it's ok.
Any experience anyone

I'd get a second and third opinion about having a c-section at 37 weeks though, because that's actually pre-term and really, really not ideal for the baby.

basma. you should be fine. 2.5 years is optimal, but its not a rule written in stone. My sister became pregnant 6 WEEKS after her prior c-section and everything was absolutely normal with the pregnancy and her baby. It does mean that you will HAVE to have another c-section but that is all. congrats!
