Dubai Community Health Centre has a very good counsellor - Denese MacDonald, plus a psychiatrist, who although I have no experience of, has been recommended to me from several sources his name is Dr Amer. http://www.dubaicommunityhealthcentre.org Hope that helps and good luck. ETA: I also believe there is an excellent counsellor through Dubai London Clinic, who is great with teens, but can't remember her name. Dr Smilie at the Festival City practice has a great understanding of teen issues too, although 'we' didn't click with her. I don't know if there are any child psychiatrists in Dubai or Sharjah. However, if you do a search here. top of the screen has a "search" function; type in 'psychiatrist', and a number of threads are posted with quite a few recommendations. HTH
