Advice re noisy neighbours
I live in an apartment building and about a month ago some people moved in upstairs. For the first couple of weeks there was a lot of noise - but I accepted that as know that moving, getting furniture delivered, drilling etc is essential and noisy.
However now every evening it sounds like they are literally jumping up and down of the floor / running up and down and the noise coming through my ceiling is really disturbing me. I can hear it over the TV or music - it's that annoying! I also have to wear earplugs each night too as when they go to bed, it's the same stomping around, slamming doors etc.
I have to say something before I really lose it but just wondered if anyone else with experience of this would recommend a direct approach / leaving a note / or asking concierge to have a word? I don't know anything about them so don't want to aggravate it, but worry that they will ignore security, or if I go up, then I may get abuse?! Help!!
