We're going to the jazz fest as a family tomorrow night, and am wondering what to expect. Do people stand and mill about, or are they mostly seated? It says no chairs of your own or big tarps, but their stools look uncomfortable for several hours. What have you done at this venue? Any tips?

We've done standing, sitting and VIP :) Either way was always comfortable, but mostly standing at the small stages and sitting at the big stage! Mind blanks - but i "think" last year it was sitting at the big stage! Enjoy, we are heading that way too tomorrow night, cant wait to see TRAIN!!! Edited to add: parking and taxi's can be a nightmare! So either be prepared to get there early to get a good parking spot, or walk a distance to get a taxi! The first year we walked to Barasti and waited 1hr+ for a taxi and last year we went to Media One hotel for drinks afterwards and took a taxi from there! <em>edited by plumie on 17/02/2011</em>
