Just to add Choitrams magazine sell Pashmina's for 14 AED each, if you don't want to go to Karama. Maybe Carrefour would have them too. 10 at Carrefour and 9 or less at the markets but the OP said she took those last time........

The camel chocolates are quite expensive at the airport, especially for 20 women! They were at least 50AED for a small camel shaped chocolate. I would be going towards the pashmina's for 10- 15 AED each, and it's something they can keep forever. Some women would rather not have chocolate as diets etc. They were given pashminas last time!

I love the Shiekh-Sheikha Salt Pepper Cellars and Spoon Holders. You can get them from a shop that's just opposite Al Mussalla tower. They go for just AED 10.

The thing I have been given - which is most useful is a hook which hangs off the side of the table, and you can hang your handbag on the other end. Allows you to keep an eye on your bag and off the floor! The bit which sits on the table as images of Dubai on them! So useful. HTH
