we have a very snorry pug who also refuses to sleep anywhere but with us! I have desperately been trying to find a pattern to her snoring (changing walk/feed times in relation to bed time) but no success.... I would also love to hear from anyone if they have any tips or tricks! Our pug snores too - most of the pugs at pug club do too. when she lays on her tummy she is ok but on her side makes her snore

Hi Green-ish - no she is not overweight - at all, she is in perfect weight, as per the VET's comment. Must also add she can at times have very vivid dreams where her eyes moves alot and also her legs - funny to watch. this can happen even during the day. She knows who the boss is - but after several attempts of making her sleep outside our bedroom - we gave up, don't want to wake up in the middle of the night, in the dark abd stepping on her poo or slip because of her pee... Fair enough she has been sleeping in our room for the past 3 years - and even if we have a dogsitter during our holidays, she sleeps with that person in the guest room too. Her 'previous' house didn't give her enough attention and think that's the reason she can be so clingy - especially to me - not so much my DH or LO.

I know very, very little on the topic but I do have some friends with snoring CKC spaniels. The vet has told them that the dogs snore more than 'usual' (one literally out-snores my husband and that's really saying something!) because they are overweight. How's your dog's waistline? Does she have one? Sleeping in the bedroom if you don't want her there is all about leadership and training. It's possible to get her to sleep elsewhere without soiling the house if you make sure she know's who's the boss. ;)

Our 4 yrs old Cocker Spaniel snores when she sleeps - she sleeps in our room on her big Fatboy Dog Bed ... perhaps she is so comfortable that she snores - so loud at times that I am awaken by her snore. In the beginning we tried to make her sleep just outside our room, but she began to protest (by peeing and pooing infront of the door) so she's been sleeping in our room ever she since moved in with us about 3 yrs ago. Is there any way I can help and ease her snoring? Just like a human being who has snoring problem - how I can stop this so I can sleep soundly Ps: she snores everyday/night BUT not always very loud .... but they are nights when she can wake the entire upper-floor of our villa hehehe Help - suggestion please.........................
