I have had a bug ger of a week and am very glad that it is Thursday. I have no plans other than not going to work but even so it sounds heavenly.

Is anyone else looking forward to the weekend? And if yes, why?

I love a Thursday as my DH comes home - I only see him for 36 hours and then he's away back to the prison, er I mean camp in the desert. Going out for something to eat when he gets back, if he's not too tired, then a nice lazy Friday with nothing planned - although the ARTE souk will probably get a look in at some point to top up on tablet and pate.

I have waited for this thursday for MONTHS!!! Finally it's the weekend where himself will do his race and we may get to see him occasionally in the near future. Lil miss is performing tonight and has spent a very long weeks rehearsing after school for the show. Can't wait to see our wee star shine. and THEN? I am going to have a nice big drink and sleep for 2 days. Phew. Happy weekend everyone

Looking forward to weekend... perhaps DH will decide to shop at sensible times, twice this week we've spent ages in traffic; last nights chaos on SZR and the night before on Baniyas Rd as there were dhows on fire... anyway our main plan is a picnic in the desert he's arranged for us to take part in as part of his new passion for dune bashing so hopefully no traffic jams there (wherever that is).

Yep cant wait. Its been a long few months, moving, senile mother staying in the middle of teh move, DS poorly. anyway we are settled in and are not committed to anything this weekend, so i shall settle down with a take away, a large glass of something noce and a movie........ Oh damm, being too stupid to say no we are off to dinner tonight, fortunatly not posh and with nice people but would eally have prefered to stay home. Going to Arte tomorrow for some nice browsing and some yummy tablet from tofee princess. Enjoy your hard earned weekend Cyclone T and I hope next week is better for you. x
