Has anyone ever used Corn flour to make a batter for fish & chips? I am hosting a kids party and have a little one who is wheat, gluten and dairy intolerant. Has anyone ever made a batter with corn flour?

You could also use rice flour. It is traditionally used in tempura batter!

Watch out for the ketchup as it contain gluten...Amy ketchup organic supermarket gluten free. You can get the polenta (corn) from there as well.

Yes. Beet some egg(s) separately add some black pepper in .In another plate pour the corn flour for coating. Dip the fish strips (grouper for us) in the egg and after turn them in the corn (polenta powder) to get a good coat.....wondering if we are talking about some corn flour...I use the yellow one the same one you make polenta. You can add some salt and sesame seeds if you like in the corn flour.
