Well bummer, iclarified says there isn't software available right now to unlock my phone with the firmware I have. So it looks like I'll need to just buy a new one here.

Or you could just go to minuites i had my old one done in MOE it cost about 140 dhs and took a few hours easy peasy! you do lose a lot of stuff off your phone , some itunes downloads and photos , but i just synced it with my mac and got it all back on so no prob there.

I need to get my iphone unlocked and I read online how to unlock it but there were several steps involved and lots of downloading. I'm somewhat computer literate and DH is very good with computers. Should I attempt it myself or just have someone here unlock it? I have 3 months left on my contract in the states and then I'm free of AT&T but I can't go another 3 months without my iphone. Pathetic I know.
