SUCH a North American attitude, CdnExpat [but hey, lovely to hear that you had a great time enjoying a bit of cricket in Oz!'>. I heart my cricket, really do, but then ... I was raised on it [it's in my blood'>. I love rugby as well though, so I get my 'brawls' [and loads of claret**'> to balance out the quiet tension of cricket. ;) ** claret = blood. :D

Hahaha :) This Canuck just doesn't 'get' Cricket at all. I tried to embrace it when we lived in Aus - and really enjoyed the odd alcohol induced game of beach cricket - but it just didn't catch on with me. We first arrived during the Ashes - OMG - a game that takes days to finish, stops for tea...and may still not have a winner?
