A friend of mine had surgery with him at City hospital and he was fanatastic. Very thorough, great follow up and after care. He and his wife even came to my friend's leaving drinks when they left Dubai!
I had also seen him few time for a lumbago and did MRI and discovered damaged disc. I got medicines and phytotherapie but never had surgery. so I can not complain , he did a good diagnostic for my back. but in case of surgery I will always check with my country before to have one in Dubai.
Hi Golitely!
I have a bit of an ambiguous review for him. Both my husband and I went to him for back problems. My husband found him to be good--no real complaints. He listened to my husband's concerns, did the proper investigations and came back with very reasonable and conservative treatment plans.
For me, I also found him to be competent, but I felt like he was strongly encouraging me to have "minimally invasive" back surgery. I really would have preferred a more "conservative" approach; but in the first appointment (after the MRI) he was recommending this surgery. I did talk with my doctor back in the US and she said that it would be OK, but perhaps try strengthening exercises first as I did not seem comfortable with this decision. So I began pilates with a proper trainer that had experience in strengthening the back and had really great results (it took a while, but eventually I started feeling improvements).
Honestly, I can't knock his competency--he seemed knowledgeable and well-trained. My doc in the US said that his recommendation was reasonable, not super conservative, but certainly reasonable (especially since I was in a huge amount of pain). I haven't had any back issues thank God since, so I have not needed to go back to him. But, if something did come up, I would probably go back to him.
Perhaps you might talk to him and say you are uncomfortable with the idea of a procedure and would like to know if there are other steps you can do first?
I hope this is helpful!
Hi Ladies, really need some help please. I have always received treatment on my back in the UK and never felt comfortable receiving it here. However I have seen Dr Zbiggy Brodzinsky and he wants to conduct a proceedure called ANTERIOR EPIDUROSCOPIC LASER DISCECTOMY. My question is has anyone ever had this proceedure and if so was it helpful? Secondly has anyone used Dr Zbiggy for any back issues and if so do you have any feedback. Any help would be much appreciated. I am feeling slightly nervous as you can imagine Thank you.:):)
