Hi, we will be moving to the UAE soon and I'm having real trouble getting a school place for our 4 yr old son. Does anyone know of a nursery in Abu Dhabi that would do reception year? We have a 3 yr old as well so she could go to the nursery with him.

Little Smarties Nursery will take children that are 4 years of age. They are located in Khalifa City A and are currently enrolling children for September. Good luck with finding placements for your children. I know it is a lot of hard work.

HI! School as in "big school", proper school actually starts for kids here from the age of 4....uniform and all... u will not be able to get them in in a nursery/ playschool type effort if they are older than 3. The lil boy that I nanny turns four in a few days and he starts with proper school in September. There are many nursery type schools for kids around 1 to 3 years (even younger) and also many "SCHool" SCHools. You best start applying now :) Sept is the new school year...
