I have been asked to see a neurologist and am hoping that someone on this board may be able to recommend a good doctor. Alternately, my doctor has also suggested I try to get an appointment to see a neurologist at Hamad...can anyone guide me on how to go about this? Will I need to take the referral letter and go in person? Thanks.

Hi Elizabeth, Doha Clinic Hospital also has very good neurologists (had myself checked there a month ago). You can call them at 4438 4333 to set an appointment.

the health card is the official public card that entlitles you for treatment at a public hospital, you can call them up to inquire or get the form and just fill it in, you will have a unique number that will be your refrence no for all your medical inquiries. try the outpatient for neurologist,

Hi Maple, You have to apply for Hammad Medical card at your nearest hammad clinic.(Check on website for your area & closest clinic) http://www.sch.gov.qa/mchc/En/hcenters.jsp You will need copy of your RP, copy of your Electricity account, ID photo & QR100. You will get a temporary card immediately & then you can go to Hammad.I have no experience with Neurology, but in Dental/maxilo surgery dept , appointments can be from 3 weeks to 3 months :(

Thanks but what health card are you referring to? I have the insurance card given by DH's company; can you please clarify Sands123. Also would you have any idea how long it takes to get an appointment? Thanks again

You would have to have your Health Card from Clinic & then go into Hammad with your referral letter , they will then make an appointment for you.
