Hi all Just wondering if anyone is living in Al Reef? Is it a nice area to live? Are there any shops or restaurants? There are two shops open, one in desert and one in Arabian, the bigger shops are meant to be opening by Eid (!). Deerfield Carrefour opens on Saturday which is less than 10 mins away. Never heard of any damp problems. There are parks in each village (except contemporary which isn't open yet). Swimming pools in 3 villages and downtown. A nursery is opening in downtown this month apparently

Hi all Just wondering if anyone is living in Al Reef? Is it a nice area to live? Are there any shops or restaurants? Also any parks in the area as I have a little boy who just loves the park Thanks basicially no shops one little like corner shop you will need a car to drive to kca or baniyas etc. the apartments are having issues over parking, and if going for a villa check the build quality as some suffer with damp issues etc.

Hello.. I live in Al Reef :) I moved there last Jan once I got married as my husband was already living there. He's been in Al Reef since it started, thats about 3 & half yrs. Its a nice community, perfect for children to run around and not sit in the house all the time. We live in the Arabian Village which has a park and a small Select Express store. Mind you, this is the only store in and around the area. (doubt if the other communities has any store) There is a restaurant inside Arabian Village. Good food. Few place deliver to Al Reef now. The closest mall would be Al Raha Mall & Bawabat Mall. There's also Waitrose in Al Zeina, which is about 10-15 mins from the community. Hope this helps! :)
