Hi Abu Dhabi ladies, we are planning relocating to Abu Dhabi in a few months time and Im seeking your advise on renting 2-3 br villa/townhouse in good compound. The area should be safe for animals (we have furry friends) with community pool and gym preferably and close to the Ministries area.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Newbie2AD I have just relocated from Dubai a few months ago and I underestimated how expensive AD's rental properties were. We looked at a few compounds and for your budget, you won't find much unless you are off the island (as in a villa). The issue of cost of district cooling is one you need to consider at Al Reef and Hydra. We looked at Raha Gardens but you would be looking at $170-$200+ there. Khalifia City A is ok too and schools around there are apparently worth looking at. You just have to decide what you are after and where and narrow it down from there. I have a good real estate agent who may help you with a furnished apartment if you are interested (he was so patient with us) and he is honest. He shows you lots of options but he is thorough. His name is Vitaly at Demar Property Management and his contact details are 050 220 2677. Good luck! ad is much much more expensive than dxb always has been. fully furnished you will pay a lot lot more..... not so many off island, yas island staybridge suites and larabia apartments at mbz otherwise lots in town. u will have to find a sch place first than try accommodation there are more houses on offer than sch places....! thats your priority i would say

appreciate your reply, busybee. we are looking at 120k max. so far i've found a few: Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Al Reef, Hydra Village in our price range, but these villas dont have nice layouts. could you plz suggest other areas to look? 120 is small you will not find anything along salam st/ministries only apartments. you will need to look at mbz al reef hydra khalifa cities etc.

is there a villa for under 200K in the khalifa park area?. I think everything is 200+ would say that you are right... perhaps some of the older smaller ones up the road. look at al nahyan camp but even a 3 bed flat is 185 or so

Hi I live in Bloom gardens and it is beautiful but unfortunately we are still awaiting the facilities!!!! So maybe Fayja is on about somewhere different, I know there are quite a few around here though, not sure of the names but if you look at khalifa park area or Salam street it may help narrow the search :-) edited by Rubydo on 31/03/2014

There is a very lovely compound just before your get to Brighton college that might fit your reqts. I don't know the name of the compound but they have 2-3 bedrooms, community pool, a small yard and might be within your budget. If you are already in AD, it would be better to drive to that area and have a look at the villas.

Are you specifically looking for a place with a yard? If not I've heard Al Rayanna is a good place in that budget.

it depends on your budget. there are alot of new companies in the ministries area, right up by bcad school etc but there are many more close by.
