Hello,

My husband and I will be moving in to JVC soon to the new building called SPICA.

Can anyone give any tips on the area itself?
Are there any groceries that deliver?
Pharmacies in the area?
Any good salon for females?
Laundry and dry cleaning services?
Any maid services that can visit the area?

And any tips in general....

Hello Dashenka and welcome to JVC, We are new to JVC as well and reside in District 12 which is a bit quieter with less construction work. I am not sure which District you will be moving in to, and some Districts are a tad noisy due to ongoing construction work. We have a few groceries that deliver - Choithrams, 24-All Day Supermarkets and also Spinney's. Lots of Pharmacies, Salons and Laundry services. We also have 2 ATM machines inside JVC and 1 Clinic. Plenty of parks for walking/jogging and separate parks for dogs. Not sure about any reliable Maid services but have seen lots of Vans boasting of such services around the area. Unfortunately the only thing we are short of is a few good Restaurants and Coffee shops but I hear we will be getting CIRCLE MALL soon (in 2018 I think?) which will boast of all the extra's! I hope you like the place :) :biggrin:
