Fuel prices in the UAE are set to fall in July, according to an announcement by the UAE Fuel Price Committee.
Following the highest petrol prices ever seen in the UAE in June 2018, there's some relief for drivers as there'll be a decrease in gasoline and diesel prices for the month of July.
The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) confirmed the price decrease in a tweet on Thursday, stating the new fuel prices - inclusive of VAT - for July.
July UAE petrol prices
The new fuel prices for July in the UAE are as follows:
- Super 98 at Dhs 2.56 per litre
- Special 95 at Dhs 2.45 per litre
- Diesel at Dhs 2.66 per litre
Fuel prices in the UAE were liberalised in 2016, and since prices have moved with the global market causing fuel costs to change on a monthly basis.
In other news, drivers visiting ADNOC stations across the UAE must now use self-service petrol pumps, or pay for the premium service. More on that here.
