I have been getting lash extensions for years. It is such a delicate service that requires a combination of skills and quality products especially the glue. A lot of glues are safe and can cause irritation afterwards.
I have recently tried [url=http://www.nstyleintl.com/service-menu/eyelash-extensions-dubai/'>eyelash extensions[/url'> using Misencil at NStyle Beauty Lounge. I believe just launched it. I was happy with the results. Their lashes are very light, it does not even feel like I wearing extensions.
Okay ladies I took the plunge and finally bought the ModelCo Fibre Lash mascara from www.fibrelashme.com it's much cheaper than extensions and it looks damn fab. They deliver to your door anywhere in the UAE apparently and I paid cash on delivery, which I thought was all kinds of cool for someone who is a tad lazy. Would totally recommend it over extensions.
If you have trouble keeping mascara on use MAC Opulash (grey tube) it is actually hard to get off and stays on all day and even through running outside in the heat.
There is a company called Mist Me who do them in your own home. I had one of their flyers put under my door. They charge 450 for a full set. Don't know where the flyer is now, so can't help with a telephone number.
I've got mine done recently at Tip N Toes for 500 and loving them.
I also have to agree with a previous poster, that you loose a bit of your lashes when they all come off. And you will possibly feel more bare since you were used to seeing your self with a whole set for a full month.
I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would bump it as I just wanted to let you ladies know, be careful when having lash extensions, I had them done 2 months ago for a wedding in DXB and they ended up taking half my lashes off, when the lash extensions started to come off.
Blogger Butter Hot Shoes, just did a post on a new product called ModelCo Fibre Lash, apparently it's another alternative to falsies, definitely worth a look!

I had mine done at Pastles, Al Wasl rd, I think the girls name was karen or carol!! anyway she was very good, never had any problems and they always looked good, great way to have an afternoon kip when she did them ;), I had mine done there for over a year, gave up as it was getting a hassle trying to find time to get them done! I would have them done again for holidays etc, and would only go back to them :)
Hi ladies. My name is Zaineb, and I am a health reporter for The National. Can you please tell me more about any problems you have had when getting this procedure done?
Do you think there is a problem with the number of beauticians handing out this treatment despite not having being adequately trained?
Where else, apart from the salon mentioned, have you had a bad experience?
Thanks!

Just AVOID avant garde salon in JLT. She glued my eyelids together, was the scarriest thing ever!!!! She has trembling hands and was about to cut my eyelids open with scissors! She put glue everywhere, looked like a chaotic jungle, yet the lashes fell off within 1.5 weeks. She said she had been doing it for 6 years, well, that's either a big lie or she is very lucky that she is still employed!
OMG!!! I'm going to the US for christmas. I think I'll just wait until I go there to get my extensions. The amount of horror stories I keep hearing. Two years ago I got hair removal lasering done on my legs at the Manchester Clinic in Jumeirah. They put burn marks all over my legs and didn't do a thing about it. Took nearly 6 months for the marks to completely go away. Some things just aren't worth risking here!!

This is an old thread but I thought I might bump it. I am looking for a beautician that knows how to do false eyelashes that actually last and uses good products that don't hurt your eyes or damage your eyelash bed. Last year I paid AED600 for false eyelashes at Maison De Joelle that lasted about a week before the lashes started hurting my eyes and falling out. I had some done in Australia a year before and they didn't irritate my eyes and still looked good a month later. What I mean by irritating my eyes is that my eyes felt gritty (maybe from the glue??) and the lashes kept falling out. It was so hard to resist touching my lashes as they were digging into my eyes.
I noticed that people have mentioned Sisters Beauty Lounge. I looked at their site and they don't have prices. Has anyone used them recently? How much did they charge for a full set?
While I'm on this subject just want to share an article I found. Try not to get false eyelashes too regularly as it can permanently damage them and stop them growing. Always give them a chance to grow back naturally. http://gulfnews.com/life-style/beauty-fashion/suffering-the-backlash-from-false-eyelashes-1.661259
The article confirms what i said before about these extensions.Took a few months for mine to grow back properly.
Eyelash extensions are as good as the beauticians skills and I dont think any of the beauticians in Dubai has had specialized training to do so thats why they dont last as long.
