Anyone had Botox in Doha?

I want to get my armpits done (which really does stop the sweating). I had it done in Dubai a few years ago and it does work, unfortunately it was a spur of the moment thing I didn't realize until later that the Dr. only used about half of the required Botox on me so it only lasted a couple months. If done right, it should last for up to 6 months!

Don't want to make the same mistake again so would appreciate a recommendation if anyone has one.

TIA

no it just feel like tiny little pricks, each one is really quick, they must only inject a small amount in each pore/gland??

Well thank god he said that, I don't think groin injections would have been a barrel of laughs!!!!! (Did the armpit ones hurt like **** by the way?)

Mine was done by my dermatologist and yes he did the cornstarch and then he used a pen I think to mark where he would give shots (can't remember exactly)...I have no clue on the dosages but it was covered by my health insurance in the states so I am sure there was "nothing extra" included. He gave me maybe a doxen shots in each armpit I think, could have been more. amy I didn't notice any effects. I have always suffered from excessive sweating from my armpits, groin area, and feet. It doesn't have an odor. Mr dermatologist told me that botox was not approved to stop sweating anywhere else except for armpits so he wasn't allowed to shoot me up everywhere else :(

lulubaker: thanks for the recommendation. I will check them out. ccdoha: do you remember how many cc's or mg's of Botox they used? Also, how did they determine where to make the injections? (ie cornstarch on the armpits and wait for the sweat to turn it purple identifying the sweat glands....) I want to be sure I get it done right this time. That is so great to hear it lasted so long for you the 2nd time! amy77: I personally didn't notice any extra sweating anywhere else, but as I mentioned I really didn't get the full & proper effects of the treatment.

HEF/ccdoha - did you get any issues with compensatory sweating on other parts of your body after the treatment? I've been thinking of it myself, but I have heard that you can end up with sweaty back/hands/feet as a result.

I have Botox (in my face!) regularly with Dr Makki at the Plastisurgery Centre, between C&D ring roads. Don't have the number to hand, but he's very well known and listed in the Marhaba guide.

I haven't had it done here but would like too. I actually had it done twice in the USA and after the 2nd treatment it seemed to last forever.
