Abu Dhabi Information for a newbie (horse riding, housing and schooling specifically)
Hi There,
We are thinking of relocating to Abu Dhabi , we previously were in Doha for four years and have been back in NZ for 2 years, i was wondering if you could all advise on some nice compounds, what british schools are best (and not ridiculously expensive - i saw one for 65 per child a year - we have three kids! is this normal?) we are also very into our horses and im wondering if anyone can fill me in on whether riding is ok there, expensive? what stables are good? basically i need an overview of life there. In doha we lived in an amazing compound but then moved for two years to a stand alone, we definitely want to be back in a compound this time round so whats an average price for a decent one? any advice will be gratefully accepted - and also in general is life in abu dhabi good? is the expat community awesome? i had so many friends in doha it really helped and i assume it will be the same there :)
