Motorists are reminded to follow the rules for resident parking bays between 9PM to 8AM

All drivers in Abu Dhabi can enjoy FREE parking on Thursday, October 29 on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday.

According to the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, parking bays will be free to use from midnight this Thursday until 7:59AM on Saturday, October 31.

ITC calls on motorists to avoid parking in prohibited places. Drivers are also urged not to block other vehicles as it could affect the flow of traffic.

This week, both the private and public sector in the UAE will enjoy a three-day weekend from October 29 to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday.

It's back to work for all on Sunday, November 1, confirmed the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

UAE health officials reported 1,390 new Covid-19 cases, two deaths, and 1,708 recoveries.
