Those caught doing so will be fined.

The Abu Dhabi police would like to remind UAE residents to avoid crowding near accidents. Doing so can delay police, ambulance, and other civil defence vehicles and members from reaching the accident site and providing immediate assistance.

A fine of AED 1,000 will be given to those gathering at accident sites and obstructing police, ambulances, and civil defense vehicles.

Only those involved may gather near where the accident took place. We advice the public to stay at a distance to help local authorities arrive faster and handle the situation without obstruction, as well as avoid incurring fines.
