What's happening in Dubai for Public Transport Day?
The giveaways is one part of the RTA's #WeMoveTogether initiative that is running in the lead up to Public Transport Day on November 1st, 2018.
Alongside the above Public Transport Movers' Award, the RTA have a number of other activities that Dubai residents can get involved with.
Be creative on-the-move
This activity is calling out to students to create an exciting 1 minute video that showcases how public transport integrates the city. Entries should be posted on Instagram or Facebook by tagging RTA and using #WeMoveTogether. Prizes include a Canon EOS MSD, Canon EOS 4000D, Zoemini Printers and AED 100 Silver nol cards.
Find the matching nol
Buy a Silver nol card from any Dubai metro or Dubai tram station and you could be one of the lucky 400 to find half a reward printed on it. Look for the matching half to win "At The Top" Burj Khalifa vouchers, free entries to Global Village, Canon Zoemini Printers and Samsung headphones.
Triple your points with nol+
The more you use your nol card during October 22nd and November 1st, the more points you collect = the more rewards you get.
Catch them on-the-go
Move with different social media influencers - including Virgin Radio's Kris Fade - and win exciting prizes on different modes of public transport.
Be part of a Guinness World Records title
Dubai is home to over 200 nationalities and is one of the most diverse cities. In true Dubai style, the RTA have also teamed up with the Ministry of Tolerance to invite everyone to be part of a Guinness World Records title attempt for the most nationalities in a human chain on board Dubai Metro.
Free celebrations will also be happening at Global Village after the world record attempt and all those with a valid passport or Emirates ID are invited to participate.
