Dr. Kamil Al Rustom

Dr. Kamil Al Rustom received his medical degree from Damascus University in Syria in 1979.

In dermatology, venereology, and dermatologic surgery, he received a specialty degree from the University of Liege in Belgium.

Dr. Al Rustom worked as a full-time resident at the Baviere Hospital's Dermatology Department between 1980 and 1984. He was a student at the University of Liege in Belgium. He engaged in extensive clinical practice (O. P. D. Theatrical Room, Heliotherapy, Lasertherapy, etc. ) and took part in clinical dermatology training courses for medical students (teaching position) as well as the post-graduate teaching program for general practitioners (teaching position).

Additionally, he took part in the Department of Dermatology's research program, as well as his own concurrent clinical and experimental research at the Faculty of Medicine.

From 1984 to 1987 Dr. Al Rustom practiced dermatology at the University hospitals (Baviera Hospital and CHU of Sart Tilman) Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Liege.

He performed a lot of clinical work in the OPD, in patients, in the operating room, etc. ) and took part in clinical dermatology training courses for residents (teaching position) in dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatology surgery, additionally in the post-graduate teaching course for dermatologists and general practitioners (teaching position).

Dr. Al Rustom served as Consultant and Head of the Dermatology Department at Al Zahra (Pvt. Al Zahra (Pvt.) Hospital, Sharjah, and. Medical Center, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He oversaw the narrowband UVB units and the PUVA therapy in addition to engaging in extensive OPD practice.

His surgical work involved the removal of skin tumors, dermabrasion, hair transplantation, surgery for varicose veins, liposuction, etc. The unit for skin laser therapy was also under his supervision. He took part in the Al Zahra Hospital's post-graduate nursing and general practitioner teaching program.

Since 2013, Dr. Al Rustom has managed Dr. Kamil Al Rustom Skin & Laser Centre in Al Wasl Rd Dubai, a cutting-edge medical facility that has become the pinnacle of his lengthy, fruitful, and hard-working years in Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
