Dr. Khan has worked at Mediclinic City Hospital as a Hospitalist (NICU/Paediatrics) since 2010. He is responsible for the care and management of critically ill newborns on advanced life support; he attends the labour ward and OR during high risk deliveries including extreme preterm babies, he performs intubations and ventilation, UVC & UAC insertion, SURFACTANT administration, lumbar puncture, IV canulation, intraosseous insertion, percutaneous central line insertion, exchange blood transfusion, HFOV and nitric oxide administration. He also attends to and manages sick newborns and children brought to Accident and Emergency and admitted to the paediatric ward.
Prior to joining Mediclinic, he was a resident neonatologist at a hospital in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
