Dr. Yamany is a highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Amr El Yamany qualified in Egypt and prior to joining Mediclinic he held the position of orthopaedic consultant in Nassar Institute Hospital (1000 bed hospital) where he was head of the Sports and Arthroscopy unit. He has more than 15 years of experience in orthopaedic trauma surgeries and key hole surgeries including arthroscopic surgeries for knee, shoulder, ankle, hip and elbow. He has performed over 1000 arthroscopic surgeries, and is proficient in sport related surgeries including ligament repair and reconstructions.
He has also performed complicated surgeries including complicated intractricular fractures and hip surgeries and has undertaken almost 1000 trauma surgeries. He also has experience in joint replacement surgeries including hip and knee, either total or unicompartment knee replacement.
