Dr. Aneez Qamaruddin Shaikh
Dr. Shaikh is an experienced Specialist Ophthalmologist
Dr. Shaikh has more than 11 years of experience in Ophthalmology and has performed more than 1000 cataract surgeries by phacoemulsification and a similar number of vitreo-retinal surgeries. He also performs a variety of surgeries for trauma to the eye as well as lasers for retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy.
He has obtained his fellowship in Ophthalmology (FRCS) from Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. He gained his postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology from LTM Medical College, Mumbai and later gained his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery from Shri Ganapati Netralaya, India.
He has also worked for organisations such as the WHO and ORBIS on projects to prevent and treat blindness in India. He is faculty for the European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology.
