Acting, music, theatre, photography, and dance activities await your child this summer!
This summer at Odyssey Nursery, an all-new creative kids camp in Dubai will soon be bringing out the storyteller in each child from July 3rd to September 1st, 2023.
The Behind-The-Scenes summer camp will combine 5 different areas of self-expression, including art, music, drama, theater, and photography, and explore how each of these can build their self-esteem, help them navigate feelings and emotions, as well as stimulate their imagination and creativity.
Check out what's in store at this action-packed kids summer programme, open to children aged 4 months to 6 years!
Music Day
Children aged 4 months to 6 years will learn to play instruments, use their singing voice and body movements on Music Day, and dance to the beats of Zumba, Salsa and Hip Hop with a dance expert.
Learning Photography and Film-Making
Children will learn the basic techniques of using a camera, opening up their eyes to new perspectives. We'll be able to see the world in their eyes, as they capture special sights and moments, and explore why these are important to them.
For this, Odyssey Nursery be hosting an expert from the Nikon Kids Photography Club at the summer camp!
Theatre and Acting
The little ones will learn to not only make up stories but to act them out; thus boosting creativity, communication skills, and even self-confidence
The process of theatre by developing a story from start to end, how it is told, and what it means, will spark curiosity and invite them to think in multiple directions, promoting their divergent thinking skills.
Children will be performing a scene from a storybook as well as creating stories on stones.
Arts and Crafts
Art during the Behind-the-Scenes summer programme will involve creating handmade musical instruments and masterpieces unique to each child. The children will also be going on a field trip to the Picasso Artists Club during the course of the summer camp.
At the end of the week, Odyssey Nursery will put on several shows including, "Odyssey’s Got Talent", "Audition For All Children," and an art exhibition! Parents are welcome.
