Internationally recognised for its multilingual and innovative academic approach, SISD continues to produce exceptional students who are sought after by top universities worldwide.

The graduating class of 2025 at Al Jaddaf’s Swiss International School Dubai (SISD) has secured an incredible USD 10 million in university scholarships, marking a record-breaking milestone in the school’s history.

This outstanding achievement underscores SISD’s commitment to academic excellence, university preparedness, and the unique advantages of its bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) education model in Dubai.

And this year’s cohort has received offers from renowned institutions across the UK, Europe, North America, and beyond. The success stories of these students highlight not only their academic dedication but also the outstanding support provided by SISD’s expert university counselling team.

"At SISD, we are incredibly proud of our students’ remarkable achievements and the dedication they have shown throughout their IB journey," said Rhiana Courlander, University and Careers Guidance Counsellor at SISD.

The students' success in securing such significant scholarships is a testament to their hard work, the school’s holistic support system, and the strength of its IB Diploma and Career-related Programmes.

"These students are now set to embark on rewarding academic careers at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions," she added.

SISD’s Class of 2025 has demonstrated a particular interest in STEM fields, with a record number of students applying to medical, aeronautical and biochemical sciences programmes. This year, five students have secured places in medical programmes, while others have been accepted into highly competitive aeronautical, aerospace and biomedical sciences courses.

Notably, 100% of SISD applicants to Scotland’s prestigious University of St. Andrews have received offers, and 93% of UK university applications have resulted in acceptances.

"Our bilingual IB curriculum not only equips students with academic excellence but also develops resilience, adaptability and a global mindset - qualities that universities and employers alike highly value," commented Vibha Masand, IBDP Curriculum Coordinator.

SISD’s boarding students have also excelled, with many receiving substantial scholarship offers, and already totalling USD 1.6 million. Some of these students initially joined SISD on bursaries, benefiting from round-the-clock academic support in the school’s boarding houses. Their success highlights the strength of the SISD boarding programme in nurturing talent and ambition.

Looking ahead, SISD is further expanding its academic offerings with the introduction of a new BTEC pathway in Sport, Business, and Management from 2025/26, providing students with even greater opportunities to tailor their education to their career aspirations.
