Adult acne and scarring - help!

Hello, my husband has been suffering from acute acne that is ongoing however the previous episodes have left really dark scars. Its mainly his cheeks and temples and the ane looks inflamed (large pus filled) and new brekouts occur on the same area again and again. He has taken Accutane in the past but had to be stopped as his cholestrol shot up! We've tried eliminating foods after doing a food intolerance/ allergy test and avoiding chicken and eggs has minimised the episodes. We are really keen on having the scars removed as its affecting his self confidence. Could you please advise a really good dermatogist?
