At the airport again and I have just been given another fine for over stay. I am on a british passport, i left Dubai on day 27 , went to London and came back on day 32. I thought i was on day 13 now of my new visa, but got told i was was 5 days over my 40 days. I questioned the officer and he said 40 days on arrival now and this has been to rule for 2 months. I got caught earlier in the year when it was no new visa if you left and returned before day 30, is this yet another change in rules?
