Although Mirdiff looks like a short drive the excessive traffic can make is a long drive time wise and if not out of Mirdiff by 7.00am you run the risk of being late for school starting. the drive home is even worse on occasions. The traffic round school can generally be pretty horrendous anyway no matter where you live. Just something to keep in mind

Depending on your budget, have a look at Falcon City, but make sure it's Phase 1. Plenty of greenery, kids play areas etc.

You can live in Mirdiff - there are some lovely compounds. You don't say what sort of a place you are looking for but for big independent villas, you can try "The Villa" and I know some people are now living in Falcon City.
