Does anyone know which metro station is closest to The Aviation College? I was thinking GIGICO but maybe Burjaman would be closer?

TIA

my brother goes to aviation, he says its a 10 minute walk from GIGICO. Not a very pleasant walk in the summer though. My he sometimes gets a friend to drop him off at the station. So the route on the journey planner won't work? Thought it sounded a bit circuitous but so are most roads in Dubai!

Use the RTA Journey planner (http://wojhati.rta.ae/dub/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en) You need to go to Emirates 2 staion and then take the 08 bus if it is Emirates Aviation College http://wojhati.rta.ae/dub/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en&sessionID=JP-LIVE-2778081140&requestID=1&command=nop&tripSelection=on&tripSelector2=1&itdLPxx_modify=simple&itdLPxx_view=detailview&itdLPxx_changeContext=true edited by wuffles on 16/03/2011

Don't think Burjuman is anywhere near it-unless it has moved recently! Oh, my sense of direction is dreadful!! So do you think GIGICO and either walk or get a taxi from there wuffles? Asking on behalf of a friend who's son needs to get there!

There's one right next to it, but I don't think that line is open yet. The Burjuman is no where near, completely the other side of town and the creek.
