hi ladies, do any of you know which bank does a basic bank account ( with no frills or liability to them) for non-residents of Dubai? thanks a million. :-)

Don't know about no frills and liability thing but dubai islamic bank and hsbc bank does non resident expat account but they need proof and reason for why you need that account (e.g. managing property in dubai etc) and where the money going to come from and where it would go to. It's not a straight forward open-in-day account and such an account take atleast 3 weeks for getting approved after all paper work is submitted. Other banks might also be offering this service as well but I have not checked.
