so , just returned from a fab weekend camping in the empty quarter and have definitely got the bug now! Have also camped at Dibba which was fab too. Where else would you recommend for camping?

Is there camping at Mamzar beach?

Last year we attempted to camp at Fujairah, there is an open beach just up from Sandy Beach Motel, really nice, but there was a bad sand storm and we all got blown away Lol, but there were a few families there too.
