Hello Eveybody!
I was wondering if there are any meeting groups for people who have lost a family member? I am aware that there are specialized therapists for something like this, but I believe that if someone has had the same experience, they would be able to relate better. And the group effect if something else, than an one on one session.
I have recently lost my father and am looking for some help for my mother.

Dear Gameela, Thank you and my condolences to you as well. And thank you for the tip. I don't think I have ever seen this 'clinic' at all. And the fact that they even have a support group sounds promising. I will definitely pop in these days.

I am very sorry for you loss. I have gone through the experience of losing my parents and know how difficult it is. You could try the grief support group at the lighthouse of Arabia. Yes, they are a counseling center, but the support group is separate.
