schools dont assess or "fail" its RTA that does that as RTA rep takes the final driving test. ;-) maybe RTA is in cahoots...who knows!!

thx KM for information, I thought the drinving training will be around the place where the kiosk/centre is like in France. Then, I will check also with Emirates driving, don't see any Alahli kiosk yet. Just want to find a real good honest school cuz I was heard that many driving schools cheat by failing yr test to make you take more lessons and pay more.

Thx ladies, I will go for Belhasa because it is in AR. Emirates driving school is quite far away, saw one in Dubai mall, will be difficult for me to get there every day with taxi.

for affordable suggest you check out respecrive websites...belhassa (sp?), emirates, alahli. i chose the latter cos it was the only one that allowed me to take a test with less than the 8 lessons (I have a GCC license). If going to them I suggest a pakistani lady instructor....sheesh just cant remember her name! but it may come to me. tried 2 male ones before her and they were horrible as instructors. ps. i think it was Fozia.

Hi, I'm also interested as well. Does anyone have experience with driving school in Dubai and can recommend me a honest & reliable one? I saw there is a Belhasa driving center in Arabian Ranches, if anyone can tell me if they are good. I'm really stuck without DL and taxi start to cost us a lot. Many thanks.

I'm planning to enroll in driving school, I already have a license from our home country for about 4 years now. Unfortunately, it's already expired. Which driving institute u went through which accepts expired driving license but has been using that for 4 years already? Also, how much have u paid for?
