I'm looking for a good coverage foundation that doesn't look like plaster of Paris....when applied. Any suggestions pls?

Someone recommended Mac....anybody know of a particularly good MAC location/makeup artist who could help out without trying to oversell!:)

Givenchy Skin Tonic.. applies beautifully. Have got all my friends on it. Faces, Debenhams or Harvey Nics.

I like Bobbi Brown foundation. Go to the counter in Harvey Nics. I've always found them really helpful

I changed over to Bare Minerals about six months ago and have never looked back. Utterly love the stuff. Sensora overcharge for it [cheaper to buy online'> but that's probably not what you want to hear with a date approaching! Seriously though, it's great stuff. Do a google for it and get some reviews. :) I love it too and their brushes :) I love the feel of it like you are wearing nothing. I get my sister to bring it over when she visits, they foundation lasts forever.

Clinique, Clarins & Guerlain have good foundations. Try these at Paris Gallery Burjuman, I find the girls there v sweet & helpful.

I like the girls in Marina Mall (also it's generally quiet so you don't have people watching). They've never tried to sell me anything I havent asked for...
