I would try Regal (Satwa/Bur Dubai), Deepak and all other fabric shops around Regal in Satwa who has wide range of silk with different prices and quality. Have a look I am sure you will get what you are looking for in many different colors! Tailor I would recommend Pelin Tailoring - owned and run by helpful lady - 050 1656598. Good luck!

You need to buy "[b'>crepe[/b'> pure silk" ! It's the best one for dresses ! The simple pure silk is too light and it will stick on you when walking !

I really want to get a copy made of an original 1930's silk dress I have while I'm here and there are plenty of good taylors, but where is the best place to buy some good silk fabric to get the dress made in? It needs to be quite heavy silk. If you have any taylors to recommend that may be of use as well. I normally use Dream Girls. Thanks for the help
