I went to the one in AR and she really kept on digging and poking, I swear she liked seeing me jump from the chair. They did not do a good job and hardly scrubbed my heels. I asked her to do more and she said I should take the callous treatment, to which I told her I get a bad reaction to the chemicals.
Alas, I shall try again and not book with the same lady
With so many places to choose from why would you try again?

I go to Sasha across from Spinneys on Al Wasl.....not up to date decore, needs a paint job but the pedis are pretty good and the manis...good price. There is Sasha's in other places. Google :)
I was going to N Style in Marina Mall and at DIFC but now I have stopped using them.
I paid 170aed for a mani/pedi (french) and it never seems to be a good job. they dont give your feet a good scrub and they have stopped exfoliating your feet with the gel. instead of using the fizzy balls that whiten your nails they just drop cheap soap in the water now.
its just a real hash job. Its a chore as it is going for mani/pedi, the least they can do is do a good job
I found Manuella salon in the Marina is very good, she scrubs your feet for ages and its more of a treat.
The only downside is that the beautician in there is obviously bored and trys to get you to have treatments all the time. Gets on my nerves after a while, now many times you gotta say no!
Oh dear, i had a few issues with the mani at N style, always ended up wth really sore cuticles and i like a good foot scrubbing, i am happy with AR tips and toes, they do a goo djob and its quite relaxing and peaceful in there, i dont mind paying the price for it, its my only treat i really spend money on myself for anyhow, rest of my salary goes on DS DH and the house Lol :)
i think they like to go a little overboard and dig out the sides of your toes with that sharp thing they use!! its like, WHOOOAAAA. They just laugh at you, sorry maaaaaaaaaam!

:( i've had such a terrible experience at T&T on the palm.
I did at the palm one but the one at AR is fine.
You could try N Style in MOE they are quite reasonable from what i remember.
Tips & Toes charges AED70 for a pedicure and same for a manicure. I also prefer the one at Meadows Village though the one on Palm Jumeirah is closer to my place.
I go to Desire nr Yacht Club. Lovely massage chairs, do a great job and think its AED120 for mani/pedi. And the polish stays on much longer than when i've been to the "posher" places.
T&T are one of the cheapest decent nail places in dxb, imho. And they fairly kept their prices most competitive.
Nail Spa, N'Bar - long time already charging 140 per combo.
Tips and toes have increased their prices again and I find it hard to justify now my monthly treat of a manicure and pedicure. Does anyone else have any cheaper recommendations in the new dubai area?
Shame as the girls in the meadows village are lovely.
