It's always good to talk to some one other than one's parents. Especially to a female who would let you talk it out and then very subtly try to deal with the real situation. Professionally and logically. Guys do email me ( email given beloow) for any help required in this field
Grllito - have you thought about Tae Kwon doe? We have had exactly same experience as you with DS, added to that problems with school and terrible issues with his teacher ( he also has a speech delay) ....anyway we have had terrible issues with self confidence. One thing that has helped hugely is Tae Kwon doe , I think his instructor is amazing, very empowering, great for boys and girls. Let me know if you want the details.
Hi Villeroy and others. Have read the whole thread. Have a very nice experienced lady from London who handles these kind of situations. A friend of mine was having a similar problem with her daughters and did visit this lady and were quite happy. She's a life and youth coach. If interested pls email me at andsmith7 at gmail dot com.
Hi guys! Having somewhat the same problem as Villeroy, sorry to hijack the thread.... In our case we recently realized our DD was being bullied by a neighbor. The parents won't do anything and we've decided that it's best to remove her as much as we can from the situation since all the kids play together every afternoon... I'm trying to find positive activities for her outside our home so she can build her self esteem back up and was thinking about the Girl Scouts, does anyone have contact information for them?
Thanks!
