No you can't send to the UK. The max you can carry over yourself is 200 per person. They never check and i NEVER take that few. Always take between 600-1000. :D Errrrr yes they do check - you've just been lucky/mad!

Exactly as Nobbles said.......for people coming in from outside the EU.......you can bring in one from the following list: •200 cigarettes •100 cigarillos •50 cigars •250g of tobacco Or you can combine these allowances. For example, if you bring in 100 cigarettes (half your full allowance) you can also bring in 25 cigars (half your full allowance). This would make up your full "DUTY FREE" tobacco allowance. edited by wj731 on 16/03/2011

Within the EU, as many as u like for your OWN PERSONAL consumption. Coming from outside the EU, 200 per adult. Can bring more but must be declared and subject to import vat and tax.

Sorry Izzy but i highly doubt it is legal for import to the UK. I don't think its classed as import as it is from another EU country. These companies have been operating for decades, so if they were illegal they would be closed down.

I travelled by ferry to France once and im sure I read you have go and purchase tobacco products yourself. So if this is true then having them shipped by a company has to be illegal.

I know when we go to europe our allowance is 3200 cigarettes, but I really dont know f we are alllowed to order them and have them shipped. Wouldnt everyone in the UK that smokes have them shipped. There must be a clause somewhere. THe UK government surely wouldnt allow us to do this, look at all the revenue they will lose. It's all within the EU -so there is NOTHING they can do..... :D Most people don't know. Izzy this is so not legal for import into UK. Quoting from their website "Moreover, in order to benefit from the provisions of European law (in particular the Single European Act of 14 February 1986 and Article 8 of Directive 92/12/EEC of 25 February 1992), the products purchased must be intended for personal use. " This is legal.

No you can't send to the UK. The max you can carry over yourself is 200 per person. This is correct, anymore and you risk having them confiscated and a black mark against your name everytime you fly into UK. It's tax evasion and they take it seriously in the UK.

When i lived in the UK about a decade ago, i used to buy my cigs from a company in Spain, who used to deliver them to the UK. As Spanish taxes are much less then they used to be about half price. This was totally legal as all in EU. Let me google and see if i can find.
