Go down Al Wasl/Iranian hospital road all the way to the end, take a right onto Diyafa street, at the next round about take a right into Satwa. Fida is about half way down this road on your right. Probaby best to park a few meters into the road and walk the rest of the way. ( I think there is a mosque opposite) Its one of those places I know where it is, but I dont know whats around it. ;) thanks a lot!

For buttons, zippers etc FIDA in Satwa is definately the best place....its amazing how much they can cram into a small place like that...you can easily spend hours in there. I think they close for lunch so its best to go in the morning. can you give the details for fida location, please?

Yep-the one upstairs in Jumeirah (sp?) Plaza-the one with the pink roof-has quilting and patchwork suppliies etc are you sure it's Jumeirah plaza? bc Town Center had pinkish color as well.. do you know the name of that shop? Sign on the window says the Quilt Shop-sells Bernina sewing machines-the other is in the Mall-Town Centre? next to Mercato
