Hi,
I couldnt stand the thought of the poor thing left on the side of the road like that, so when I saw it still there tonight, my husband and I went and retrieved the poor thing, and have buried it in a nice spot amongst the flax (?) bushes on the boundary road.
It didnt have a collar on.
'RIP little thing'
I've driven up and down that road today looking but didn't see anything. Maybe the body has been removed? Will double check again tomorrow when I'm out that way. Might be a little too far down to be my friends cat but will check anyway...
I saw the same cat, thought it was mine for a minute so went back round to have a look at it again... its white with tabby patches, it had a few light ginger marks on its legs as well....
It is when you're heading towards the greens....
Hi, thanks for mentioning it - I'm helping a friend look for her missing tabby/white female from Springs 3. I'll be passing there later on will have a look but just want to check which direction you were travelling - towards springs or away fron Springs?
:'(
Not mine as our holiday cats stay indoors-but how considerate of you to drive back to move the cat and report it on here-so many people would just drive on
I'm so sorry if this news brings sadness to a family.
When I drove up that new road between Choithrams, (past DIA, Lakes) and into Greens this morning, I saw a adult cat curled up dead on the side of the road. It had a grey/black tabby back, and white stomach and legs.
When I u-turned and went back to remove it off the road, I saw a cleaner had already moved it off the road, past the cones and into the curb of the unused lanes.
I'm so sorry.
If its any consolation, the cat looked like it was curled up sleeping .
