Thanks again poppy101. I have contacted Healthbay via the email you sent and they responded immediately. They apparently meet once a month on a Monday night and confirm which night as they receive inquiries. The good thing about this particular group is that they welcome the family and carers as well and not too far to travel as it is very near Waitrose.

So sorry to hear about your friends diagnosis. I have heard that Health Bay Polyclinic, have set up a cancer support group for those given a diagnosis, and their carers. I can try and find out more for you. Some of my friends are registered with the clinic as patients, and visit various Doctors there.
