Discriminated against because of weight

Ladies,
Does anyone know if there is any law here with regard to discrmination against someone because of their weight in the workplace? Just spoke to an friend of a friend and she told me that her work were after her to lose weight approx a year ago, she has lost 7kg but they want her to lose an additional 4kg and have given her two weeks to do so. Not to mention the fact that 2 weeks is far too short a time to lose 4kg in, does anyone know if she has any legal rights? She was crushed to say the least. I felt terrible for her.
