In your maids room lingo for free but doing light house work? If so can I ask how many hours per week and do you pay them anything?

I know a maid who works 2 hours a day for free acc (no pay) and I know someone who pays her live in maid dhs 1000 for 4 hours a day.

Totally illegal but i would make them pay rent and then pay for cleaning, making of course as the risk is all the employers not the maids. Seriously would be very foolish to do this in this country. <em>edited by Sticky Wicket on 12/03/2011</em>

My understanding is that you cannot sub lease. Even though cash would not be changing hands a service would be which is the same thing legally. If you need a maid either sponsor one or get a part time maid through a registered agency. The fines and consequences are significant in comparison to the small monetary saving you would make.
