I am desperate here.
have my sister's wedding in 2 weeks and all the tailors that i have trusted before literally ruined them .
i have tried dreamgirls in burdubai with the original blouse attachment from a 1000dhs saree and the tailor gave me the blouse 3 weeks after the said delivery date which was atleast 3 sizes smaller then mine.left it at that since the whole episode depressed me. Then tried Rincos and the master gave me mine on the said date which was quite a surprise....but the blouse had no zippers or hooks on them and i had no way of putting it on!!!when i asked him how in heavens name am i going to wear it,he told me to slide it over my head.
fine!!!!!but i have broad shoulders and tiny waist...so there was no way i cud pass it below my shoulders.
oooohhhhhhh okay,he says....come back tomm and i will fix it for u.
i go back the next day and he gives me something that looks like the blouse i had the day before only that the front had been split open and hooks attached to it.I was able to put it on but now it hangs off my arms becoz of the alterations done on it.
tried a couple more tailors but none of them was able to give me a fair fitting.it was then that i decided to forget the saree for ever and wear short kurtis.
but here i have no choice since the indian wedding is a traditional affair and i would look very illfitting and immature to wear something short of a saree.
so girls,if any of u know of a reliable and experienced tailor ,i wud be debted to u for life!!!!

go to Karama Centre mall... behind the Lulu in Karama... they have a tailoring shop just opposite the Money Exchange (next to this dinky toy shop) they do very good tailoring for saree blouses... they are southindian... they are also extremely busy so not sure whether they would do it in time... you could always offer to pay an urgent charge
