Does anyone know where we can find any grocery stores/supermarkets on Palm Jumeirah?

Hi - we just moved from the Meadows to the Palm and except for the Milk and Honey store whose sign we can see when we drive on the Trunk, we don't know of any other supermarkets/grocery stores on the Palm where we can buy everyday items. We're finding ourselves running to Spinneys Town Center to even buy milk. There must be something on the Palm (she says holding her breath).

Also, since parking on the shoreline is so difficult are we allowed to park in the basement of the building if there is a store inside?

You could also check InstaShop, it's a mobile app you can use to order your groceries and they deliver at your place. I live in Dubai Marina and it's pretty convenient for me since I am too busy to go grocery shopping.... I see the Palm option is on so you could give it a try. Hope that helps :)

You can park outside Milk and Honey, Building 3/4 and 5/6 most of the time I just leave my car right at the top of the ramp (where you walk in) and not in a parking space and just run in to get a few bits. They all deliver too and it's pretty quick. Milk and Honey is good for fresh foods (veg, meat, milk, bread) and reasonable but don't buy cereal and other imported products as they are often twice the price of Spinneys.

Try supermart.ae, they deliver almost everything and I found them to be very reliable in terms of timing. Other than that, if you want a close supermarket, there's Carrefour Express just off the bridge on Al Sufouh Road in the Marina Crown building (direction of JBR, then Uturn) or the Almaya supermarket in Internet City/KV (go out of Palm direction of Al Sufouh Rd, then immediately after tunnel turn right into Internet City, turn left in roundabout following parallel road to Al Sufouh (many speed humps). At traffic light turn left and immediately after turning, go into parking area of Office Park building, go to the end, Almaya has parking).

Welcome to the Palm. All the mini marts deliver (call 04-422-6816). I'm not sure how much more expensive they are than a supermarket, but we get small items such as milk, bananas, onions, potatoes, yogurt, Laban, Arabic bread delivered whenever we need extra, and it's at our door in a few minutes. Well worth what ever little margin they make, not to have to dash out with the little ones in the heat in my opinion :)

The Mrs - I stumbled on to a small minimart next to Bidi Bondi yesterday. Are there similar stores in all the beach clubs? Thanks for the welcome to the Palm. Right now our frond feels and looks like the Twilight zone. It is completely deserted. I'm hoping it picks up in September. Hey, yep the first 3 beach clubs on the right all have minimarts. I think the Bidi Bondi one is the largest. We're in the Shoreline, so waking distance to Bidis's. We had friends on one of the fronds and it was always quiet during summer. Let us know when the moving in party is! :D

Thanks Licorice. Do you know which building no. Bidi Bondi/Cabana are located in?Can we park in the basement of the building and get validation? This driving off the Palm for every little item is getting tiresome. There are small car parks outside each beach club where the grocery stores are. They also deliver. Every so often we get flyers under the door with the number to call. Just pop in and get their delivery number. Prices are slightly more than bigger stores, but I guess that's to be expected! Welcome to the Palm x

Hilsbils - this is great news about a Spinneys or Waitrose opening up. That's really the only amenity we need for now. Of course a park would be great. I didn't even know there was one in the works.

The Palm has not be well serviced at all! It should have been more like The Walk with a vibrant mix of amenities. Bad town planning decisions I think. But to be fair one of the developers is planning to open a Spinneys or Waitrose close to the Golden Mile metro. Meant to be opening soon - once the 'park' landscaping is finished.

Cabana is Building 6 on the Shoreline and Bidi Bondi in Building 4- sorry don't know about parking- you should ask them if they deliver too... I don't live on The Palm just spotted those 2 shops when out and about... maybe someone else can answer about parking etc.... or you can just park outside?

There are little "corner shop" type stores in the basement of the buildings with Cabana and Bidi Bondi in- they'll be good for every day essentials- otherwise try Early Bird- they deliver anything :) Hope that helps!
