@ tootsie - you are funny :)! @kereebler - wow didn't know that, it is a lot! My friend used to fly with her dog within Europe and the dog always had a seat next to her on the plane = costs as much as my friend's seat... Thank you for all the comments! edited by fairytale on 03/04/2011 Yes but within Europe, they would be short haul flights and the animal would probably be in the pet passport scheme. The destinations you're talking about, they would have to fly as live cargo and wouldn't be allowed in the cabin. Not to mention all the paperwork each time, with import and export licenses. Seriously not worth the hassle.

Try giving Dubai Kennels and Cattery (DKC) a call they are very helpful with this type of thing, I bet they can point you in the right direction if they can't help you out, they were great when we brought our poochie from the UK HTH http://www.dkc.ae/
